The ISONAS Wiegand Interface Module (WIM) allows the PowerNet RC-03 to receive credential data from a Wiegand-based device, validate the credential, and then log that activity. Designed as an in-line module, the WIM is easily attached to selected conductors of the PowerNet's pigtail, while completely self-contained and controlled by the attached PowerNet. The WIM is perfectly suited for long-range readers for vehicle access, integration of biometric readers, or integration of legacy readers such as MagStrips. The WIM relay is rated for 2 amps at 30VDC and is only compatible with the PowerNet ReaderController (RC-03).
